In a world with so much uncertainty, it can be easy to find yourself feeling lost, unmotivated, anxious, or down. Talking to someone who can provide not only a listening ear, but an unbiased perspective, empathy, acceptance, and understanding can help to make meaningful shifts that serve to create a more fulfilling life experience. As a licensed therapist, I utilize a Strengths Based Approach to empower you as an individual, with a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to work through thoughts and emotions that may be preventing you from reaching your personal goals or living life the way you had envisioned. I also find great value and importance in individualized treatment, and as such I often pull from many other therapeutic frameworks based on my clients’ unique needs and experiences.
My clinical experience includes a range of settings and clients- from children to adults in outpatient settings, in-home therapy with families, and adolescents in an intensive partial hospital program. I take pride in creating trusting therapeutic relationships in which my clients can feel safe and comfortable, and can rest assured that they are speaking to a completely non-judgmental party. This safety and security sets the groundwork for working through vulnerable life experiences and creating healthy change. Whether you’re dealing with past life events that are now causing emotional pain, are experiencing difficulty managing your anger or other emotions, or are just looking for a safe space to talk and develop meaningful insight, I invite you to come meet with me and begin your journey towards reaching your personal goals.
